On October 27th, the "East China Normal University-St. Petersburg National University of Economics China Research Center" was unveiled at St. Petersburg National University of Economics in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
Qian Xuhong, President of ECNU, delivered a congratulatory message via video. President Qian pointed out that the establishment of the "East China Normal University Saint Petersburg National University of Economics China Research Center" is a new step taken by the two universities in the process of deepening cooperation. The center will serve as a think tank for promoting scientific research, a window for cultural display, and a base for talent cultivation.
Dmitry Vasilenko, Vice President of St. Petersburg National University of Economics, pointed out in his speech that China and Russia are comprehensive strategic cooperation partners. The establishment of the China Research Center at St. Petersburg National University of Economics will help strengthen cooperation between the two universities and promote exchanges between the Chinese and Russian people. The establishment of the center is of great significance.
Liu Jun, Executive Director of the Russian Research Center at East China Normal University, and Dmitry Vasilenko jointly unveiled the "China Research Center at East China Normal University St. Petersburg State University of Economics".
